Val Huffman

Val Huffman brings her expertise and passion for basketball to Henry Ford Genesys Health Club, where she leads the development of a premier basketball training program. With a focus on skill development and individualized coaching, Val is dedicated to helping young athletes achieve their full potential on and off the court.

A standout athlete herself, Val was a High School All-American (honorable mention) who scored over 2,000 career points and earned All-State honors for three consecutive years.

She continued her basketball journey at Kent State University, where she scored over 1,000 points in Division I Women’s Basketball and helped her team reach the NCAA playoffs.

In addition to her athletic achievements, Val holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Kent State University. Off the court, she is a proud wife and mother of two daughters and operates a small organic farm in Swartz Creek, MI.
